A practice-based PhD examining how artist-lecturers in Art and Design higher education translate, resist, and repurpose Bologna Process soft governance through their dual roles as artists and educators. The central theoretical contribution names protective translation as the mechanism through which institutional frameworks are absorbed, reinterpreted, and sometimes quietly subverted.
